By CBS 3 Springfield News

BARNSTABLE, Mass. (AP) - A Nantucket man who died in a New York City prison two months after being convicted of raping girls on
trips to Southeast Asia had heart disease.
Grace Burgess, a spokeswoman for the New York City medical
examiner, tells the Cape Cod Times that 55-year-old William
"Howe" Constable died of natural causes on Aug. 13 at the
Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Constable, former assistant sailing coach at Nantucket High
School, was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison after pleading
guilty in March to sexual abuse and pornography. He admitted paying
to assault children as young as 7 overseas.
He was arrested in 2007 after he left a camera in a Cape Cod
hotel room containing images of a man having sex with young girls.
A hotel employee found the camera and called police.
