LYNN, Mass. (AP) - A Lynn woman charged with helping an accused
murderer flee has been freed by a judge on the condition that she
check in daily with probation officers.

Louna Eveillard pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to helping her
boyfriend, Rodlyn Petitbois, flee with their four
young children from Boston to New York after Petitbois allegedly
killed Greenland Etienne last month.

Eveillard had been living with Etienne.

Police at first thought Petitbois kidnapped Eveillard and the
children, but later determined that she helped him elude police.

Eveillard's attorney, Alison Bloomquist, says her client has
endured years of abuse at the hands of Petitbois and lives in fear
of him.

Eveillard must also have no contact with Etienne's family and
seek assistance from an anti-domestic violence organization.
