When can you expect to get your tax rebate stimulus check? It depends on two things: whether you filed your taxes using direct deposit and what the last two digits of your Social Security number are.

People who filed their taxes using direct deposit will get their money first. Here is a schedule of when you will see the money in your account:

For Direct Deposit:

Social Security numbers ending with 00 through 20 - the money will be in your account by this Friday, May 2.

Social Security numbers ending with 21 through 75 - the money will be in your account by next Friday, May 9th

Social Security numbers ending with 76 through 99 - the money will be in your account by May 16.

For Paper Checks:

Paper checks are being sent according to the last two digits of your social security number too.

Numbers ending with 00 through 09 - checks will be mailed by May 16.

Numbers ending with 10 through 18 - checks will be mailed by May 23

Numbers ending with 19 through 25 - checks will be mailed by May 30.

Numbers ending with 26 through 38 - checks will be mailed by June 6.

Numbers ending with 39 through 51 - checks will be mailed by June 13.

Numbers ending with 52 through 63 - checks will be mailed by June 20.

Numbers ending with 64 through 75 - checks will be mailed by June 27.

Numbers ending with 76 through 87 - checks will be mailed by July 4.

Numbers ending with 88 through 99 - checks will be mailed by July 11.

This payment schedule is based on people that filed their taxes by April 15th. If you filed late, you'll get your rebate check after everyone else's checks are sent out first.
