Police say Johnston, who is suffering from early stages of dementia, went for a walk around 3:30pm Thursday afternoon.

Her family got concerned when she didn't come home and called police, prompting a two state search.

Johnston was found 8-10 miles away on Route 75 in Suffield, CT around 10pm, Thursday. She was taken to Baystate Medical Center for evaluation.
