The annual Mayflower Marathon kicked off Monday outside the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield. For three days leading up to Thanksgiving, food donations will be accepted to benefit the Open Pantry.

Bax & O'Brien, the morning show hosts of Rock 102 radio, will broadcast all 52 hours of the marathon. Guests on their show this year include Bill Cosby, Bob Marley, and Simpsons producer Mike Scully.

"The goal ultimately is to fill three, 48-foot trailers worth of food," said Rock 102's Mike Baxendale. "If we can do even better than what we did last year, we would be perfectly happy with that."

The Mayflower Marathon goes on all day and night until 10 a.m. Wednesday.
