Donate food and receive a free chiropractic exam. One local couple is doing exactly that.

Doctors Matthew and Lynn Charles of Easthampton are giving out free consultations and x-rays in exchange for any food donations. Thousands of dollars worth of services have been given away already. Their aim is to help those in need of food and help with their health.

The drive has been going on for nearly two months and already more than 500 pounds of food have been collected as of Wednesday.

"Everyone is generous." said Dr. Matthew Charles. "The soup donations, soup cans, everyone has been bringing those in like crazy. Toilet paper, toothpaste, and soap, stuff like that. Things that we take for granted people are donating."

The "Food for Health" drive ends this Saturday. All food will be donated to the Easthampton Community Center. They look to receive 1000 pounds of donations.

This is also a drive for their business! I bet any chiropractor would do this for free! Not that they are doing a bad thing, but there are other motives.
