It is not your typical college team, but Westfield State College welcomed the Campus Flu Team Tuesday.

As part of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the team brought their Flu Facts van to raise awareness of H1N1 flu risks. They distributed pamphlets and free hand sanitizer, while trying to promote measures to prevent and stop the spread of the flu.

"Simple things that mom, dad, and grandma always tell you to do; wash your hands, cover your mouth, stay home if you don't feel well," said Flu Facts tour manager George Gayl. "Just simple things like that, we're reminding students to do."

Flu Facts visits 20 campuses across the Bay State over four weeks. Not only do they encourage those simple, every day practices, they also encourage all students to get their flu shot and H1N1 vaccination.
