Amherst Regional Middle School held an H1N1 vaccination clinic Wednesday.

The town of Amherst and UMass Amherst received a limited supply of the vaccine. Only at-risk groups were eligible, which includes people 17 years old and younger, pregnant women, and those living with infants under 6 months of age.

"Pressure from grandma to get them vaccinated, thinking it's the right thing to do," said Katlyn Schultz of Lincoln, MA, who brought her kids to the clinic.

Long lines in the morning eventually quieted down for those who waited until later in the day.

"It was easy, convenient," said Taryn Laraja of Amherst. "We hoped that it would be really quick and it was."

The Massachusetts Department of Health recommends the vaccination for everyone in those target groups.
