Young entrepreneurs got a pep talk on how to turn their dreams into big business.

Several hundred undergraduate and graduate students from 13 area colleges packed the MassMutual Center for advice.

Eric Sullivan, the event's keynote speaker, has launched four businesses over the past six years. The Westfield State College graduate is just 23 years old.

"Taking the initiative to take that step, start your business and move forward and financial freedom for yourself and family, it feels great, and you are happy and the biggest thing is you wake up and you're happy everyday," entrepreneur Eric Sullivan said.

The annual conference started five years ago.
