Police seeking suspect in UMass sex assault

AMHERST, Mass. (AP) - Police at the University of Massachusetts
in Amherst are investigating an alleged sexual assault in the main
campus library.

Police said on Wednesday that the assault allegedly occurred a
day earlier in the women's bathroom on the 19th floor of the W.E.B.
Dubois Library between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Police describe the suspect as a man in his 20s or early 30s,
about 5-foot-6 with brownish, blonde hair. He was wearing a gray
sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police did not immediately release any additional information.
