Domenic Sarno won another term as mayor in Springfield. This will be his second consecutive term in office.

Outspoken City Council President Bud Williams took on Mayor Sarno for his seat. But Sarno defeated Williams 14,968 to 6,418 votes. That's more than a 2 to 1 ratio.

We caught up with both candidates on Tuesday night. Mayor Sarno said his top priorities will be to continue economic growth and public safety. Bud Williams said Mayor Sarno still does not have a plan to end the violence in Springfield.

Also, voters decided to extend the term for mayor from 2 years to 4 years. It will take effect in 2011.
