Mayor Michael Bissonnette says his 7,610 to 3,531 vote win is a mandate to reform.

Mayor Bissonnette rose to victory in one of the toughest races he's been a part of in his two terms as mayor.

Challenger Shane Brooks took Bissonnette to task in various debates, but the voters did not take heed.

Bissonnette tell CBS 3 Springfield, he will bring the city's government into the modern era.
