Man Caught in Westfield Lottery Ticket Thefts

The man who was caught on tape stealing lottery tickets from stores in Westfield and then cashing them in has been caught.

Police say video helped them track down 29-year-old Vladamir Zakurdayev.

The video shows the man trying to cash in stolen lottery tickets he had stolen at different stores throughout the city.

But he didn't get too far.

He was arrested on Friday night in West Springfield for shoplifting in that city.

He now faces charges in West Springfield and in Westfield.
