A Florence family is reliving a tragic accident that changed their lives forever. The adults who provided their son with alcohol before he crashed his car and died have pleaded guilty to providing alcohol to someone underage.

19 year-old David Holmans life was cut short two summers ago. On July 29th, 2007 Holman died after crashing his car into a tree on his way home from a party. Holman had been partying at his friend Andrew Lesko's house.

David's Father, Jeffrey Holman says "It was only two miles away from our home and we would always think that being that close to home is safe that they would all be safe but they really aren't. Accidents can happen anytime, anywhere."

Police say Holman had been drinking. In fact the alcohol had been provided Lesko's parents Edgar and Deborah. At the time Edgar Leskos was a captain and 25 year veteran of the Northampton fire Department. He has since retired.

David's Mother, Tina Holman says "So we trusted and thought that he was in good hands and it turned out that he wasn't."

Under the state's Social Host law , it is illegal to give anyone under the age of 21 alcohol. Even if it is in your own home.

Jeffrey Holman says, "It is against the law to provide alcohol to teenagers and only bad things can come of that, only tragedy can occur when teenagers start drinking alcohol because they are just not ready to handle it and parents need to think twice about doing that."

Holman's parents just hope others will learn from their tragedy. They say they will never have closure from the accident that cut their son's life short.

Tina Holman says, "The potential was there for him to want to do anything in life and if he wanted to do it he would have done it.

The Leskos will learn their punishment for providing a teen alcohol at their sentencing August 4th.
