A high speed chase ends in a crash. State Police tell us they attempted to pull over 22 year-old Steven Goehlert of Hatfield for speeding on Route 57 in Agawam.

That's when he took off, and took cops on a high-speed chase. State police say he exited the highway, then got back on Route 57. The chase ended when Goehlert could not handle the turn in the rotary that connects to Route 57.

A witness describes what he saw.

"I heard the cruisers come through the intersection. The guy looked like he was driving a black Porsche. He went flying through Geissler's
Supermarket parking lot, he went around the backside of the building. Then he went flying down Silver Street," said Steven Pierce of Feeding Hills.

Goehlert was taken to Baystate Medical Center with minor injuries.
