After a week of hard work from hundreds of volunteers, the dream of a brand new home has come true for the Hill family of Suffield, Connecticut.

Even though family lived across the border from Massachusetts, there was no shortage of generosity from Western Massachusetts volunteers.

It was pretty much a small town of volunteers and fans that converged on the small town of Suffield to make the construction of a new home for the Hill family possible.

Long time Holyoke restaurant The Log Cabin and Delaney House took up the the task of feeding the enormous crews.

The owner, Peter Rosskothen, says they've been on the construction site from the very beginning of the job.

"We have fed about eight thousand people, we have had beverages for close to twenty-thousand people, mind-boggling, especially when you have so little time to prepare," he said.

Mercy Medical Center in Springfield donated the plastic booties for volunteers to wear and keep the inside of the home clean.

For the exterior of the house, the show called upon Tom Loper of NuCedar Mills in Chicopee.

Loper and many volunteers donated time and resources for the siding of the brand new home.

"Everything you see, the entire exterior is ours, can't wait to see it, one of the things we like to think about is the first impression, and you get out of the limousine and that bus moves, the first thing you see is that exterior made right in Chicopee. " said Loper.

From food, to material, to labor, Sonia Burke from West Brookfield has put in a whole weeks worth of hard work.

"Almost every day, a couple days off, we worked staggered shifts, we had to work twelve to eight one day, she said.

Members of the Military were on hand as well, Tech Sergeant Pam Tuff was one of 20 volunteers to come down from Westover Air Reserve Base.

"Giving back to the community that gives to us, giving back to a member of our military", said Tuff.

And of course there where no shortage of fans to represent the Pioneer Valley.

Fans from Holyoke, Southwick, Westfield, Springfield and many more towns and cities were on hand for the big unveil.

'I'm already emotional, this is such a wonderful experience to see this happen here and see so many people come together for this family, I'm already emotional," said Springfield residents Yvette Parker and Margarita Otero.
