A snowmobiler is air lifted to the hospital after being thrown from his sled.

Environmental police tell us the accident happened just after 6 o’clock in the area of Hart and Thompson Roads in Conway.

They say tell us 20 year old Devon Peters of South Deerfield was traveling along Hart Road in Conway when he somehow lost control.

Peters ended up hitting an embankment launching his snowmobile into a tree. He was then ejected from the sled and ended up striking another tree.

He was airlifted to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield where he's listed in
good condition.

Peters was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
