With customers lined up at the drive thru and inside at the counter, the "Welcome what can we get for you" line must have been said hundreds of times.

Customer Ed Amo said, "The first few days they're open is going to be a madhouse for a while."

This combined Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell is the newest fast food place on the King Street strip.

Customer Hunter Wojtowicz said, "It was really awesome just eating the taco."

Customer Katie Newman said, "I've been waiting for this for like two weeks when I heard it was going to open and I've been waiting for this because I love tacos."

Employees working inside and at the drive through are just trying to keep up with how many people are coming through the restaurants doors. Customers aren't only excited about the food, the restaurant is also environmentally friendly."

The former Wendy's was transformed into what may be the greenest and cleanest fast food restaurant in the country. For starters, the restaurant will be converting cooking oil waste to bio-diesel fuel.
All packaging will be made from recycled materials and it uses paper bags instead of plastic. The building is made of recycled materials and uses solar lighting. Even the rain water is captured to water the lawn.

Customer Fred Weinberg said, "The fact that it's a green KFC makes me feel very good because I've been an environmentalist before it was stylish."

If nothing else, the green aspect of the restaurant might make you feel better while you fill up on fast food.
