An eleven year old Springfield boy is getting the chance to sit VIP at the October 26th Patriots game. It is all thanks to a local mentoring organization. The organization has given him these opportunities, but more importantly, a positive male role model in his life.

One of eleven year old Chuck McCoy's favorite activities is football. Especially when its with his Big Brother Richard.

"He's the greatest big brother I've ever had," said Chuck.

Both agree, it's a good thing they came into each others lives almost a year ago. Chuck was matched with Richard through Mass Mentoring and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampden County. They say, its changed both of their lives.

"His confidence and self esteem has increased dramatically," said Big Brother Richard Wyner.

Chuck is being raised by a single mom and faced a lot of challenges socially and academically. He just transferred to Forest Park Middle School. But Richard says his grades improved since they first met. And because of their powerful mentoring story, the two were chosen to be the "match of the game" at the October 26th Patriots game. They get to be guests of Pats player Vince Wilfork. They say their relationship isn't unlike their favorite football team.

"We were asked why should we win, quoting Chucky directly...we are a great team, just like the Pats, we are a great team and getting better," explained Richard.
