Springfield Clothing Store, No Stranger to Crime

Tools

By Miranda Grossman

Another family member who ran a beauty supply store in the same location was killed by a robber in November 2005. The murder of Kim Man Young was solved, and the killer is behind bars. And the suspects in at least one of this week's burglaries could be headed there too.

Witnesses called police Tuesday morning when they saw three men getting into a taxi after leaving the store with bags of clothes. The taxi driver told police where he drove the thieves to.

Police arrested Gary Butts, Gustavo Cartagena, and Jesus Negrin in Monday night's break-ins. The investigation into whether both break-ins were done by the same people continues.
