Working off of tips from numerous sources, police nabbed the Forest Park boy in front of 121 Tyler Street, only a few blocks from Saturday's murder scene. Police have confirmed the shooting was indeed gang related, but Hornsby, who was not a gang member, was not the intended target.

For a brief moment in the last 48 painful hours, grieving relatives had something to cheer about.

"We knew justice would be served. Now that it's done with, we're just going to take it from here," says Mario's cousin, Matt Grimes.

"This has been a big experience for all of us. We want to thank the city of Springfield, the commissioner who stood with us today. The state reps, the mayor, you showed us a lot of love and we're going to try to stop the violence, we don't want violence, it's for Skeet. Skeet, look at everybody here. Stop the violence, we love Skeet," says cousin Natasha Frazier.
