A week after 47 year old John Ash went missing, police found him dead in a Vermont motel room.

The owner of Inspired Hearth and Home was last seen leaving a funeral in Rhode Island. Ash left a note, informing patrons that he'd be back by Friday. He never did and that's when friends got concerned.

Police have not relased the cause of Ash's death. He was found in an Econo Lodge in White River Junction, Vermont.

John was really an amazing guy and we were very close to him. we miss you so much John and we will never forget you. Kaitlyn, Kirsten and Taryn send their love as well. We all love you very much John. <3 Keisha
