A Chicopee car dealer gets revved up about child safety. Topor Dodge hosted Child Safety Day 2007. The event featured free identification materials, which included a brief videotaped interview with each child, fingerprints, tooth impressions, and a cheek swab for DNA.

"It's a ready tool so that if anything unfortunate does happen, it gives the parent instant access to the proper identification to give to the law enforcement agencies," said Les Lohnes of Mychip, one of the child safety experts at the event.

Mychip has provided more than 250,000 Massachusetts kids with ID materials.
