Kim Lucey joined the CBS 3 Springfield news team in January 2010 as weekend anchor/producer and general assignment reporter.

Prior to her arrival at CBS 3, Kim produced and anchored the morning and noon news at WTAP-TV in Parkersburg, West Virginia. During her time in the Mountain State, Kim was honored with the 2008 Associated Press award for best feature story. She got her start in television news at WHP-TV, the CBS affiliate in Pennsylvania's Capital City of Harrisburg.

Kim is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and graduated with Distinction from Penn State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minors in History and International Studies. While in Happy Valley, Kim kept busy by reporting and anchoring for two different newscasts at Penn State: PSN News and the Centre County Report. She also interned at WTAJ in State College. But, one of Kim's favorite activities was her involvement with the Penn State dance marathon, the world's largest student run philanthropy, raising money to help kids with cancer.

When she's not working, Kim enjoys skiing, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She's excited to live somewhere with such a rich history as New England, and can't wait to explore all the Pioneer Valley has to offer.
