Jennifer Thome anchors CBS 3 Springfield News at 6 & 11. Massachusetts is her home, having grown up in Sudbury.

Before moving to Springfield, Jennifer spent two years in Wisconsin. She reported and anchored for WJFW-TV in Rhinelander, where snow and the Green Bay Packers often lead the news! She set off for the Northwoods after reporting on the streets of New York City while at Columbia University's School of Journalism. During college, she interned for "Inside City Hall", the political division of NY1, the all-news cable channel.

Jennifer received her undergraduate degree in psychology at Cornell University. After graduating, she set off to travel through Southeast Asia and it was there she discovered she wanted to be a reporter. She continues to explore other countries off the tourist track to find the path least traveled.
