Liz Tufts is the weekend anchor and general assignment reporter for CBS 3 Springfield News. Liz is a Massachusetts native, but her first job took her all the way to the Cornhusker State. Liz spent three years in Lincoln, Nebraska as a reporter/producer for KLKN-TV.

Liz is a 2002 graduate of Emerson College in Boston where her reporting took her to the Super Dome in New Orleans to cover Super Bowl XXXVI. But it was the September 11th attacks that impacted Liz's career the most. Liz spent months telling the stories of survivors, and how the city was recovering in the aftermath of the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Liz's coverage earned her four Massachusetts Associated Press Awards.

Liz is excited to be back home in Massachusetts, but even more thrilled to report on important issues affecting the Pioneer Valley.
