CBS 3 Springfield is the CBS television affiliate for the Pioneer Valley and Western Massachusetts. Our newsroom and studio are located in Monarch Place in Downtown Springfield.

      CBS 3 Springfield is committed to serving the cities and towns of Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire Counties with local news, weather, public service announcements and advertising opportunities.

      CBS 3 Springfield (WSHM) is owned and operated by Meredith Broadcasting Group, part of the Meredith Corporation. WSHM is a sister station to WFSB in Hartford, which for many years was the CBS affiliate for the Pioneer Valley. CBS 3 Springfield signed on the air in November 2003.

     CBS 3 Springfield is carried on cable systems across the Pioneer Valley and Berkshire County on channel 3. CBS 3 Springfield also transmits over-the-air from Mount Tom in Holyoke on channel 67. An upgrade to a stronger digital signal is planned for our over-the-air channel in 2009. Our digital weather channel, CBS 3 Springfield Weather Now, is also available on area Comcast digital cable systems, on channel 293.
